Concerning similarities today to the 1930s and 2006 with Economic Stagflation
We have looked at lots of interesting data this week. Some good, some not so good. Is the optimism and good vibes that are implied by the latest employment numbers misplaced?
We take a look at some concerning parallels between today and to the times just before two major economic downturns – the great depression and housing collapse. It is kind of creepy but at least it leaves us with somethings to keep an eye on so that we might just be able to more easily see it coming. In short, we seem to be heading for economic stagflation – not a good place to be.
